Campsite: Treloan Coastal Holidays
Campsite cost: £10 cash (no booking, just turned up saying I was a Walker)
Tip: You have to take two small ferries over from Falmouth to the other side to continue the trail. First is St Mawes and the second to St Anthony. Times vary - check https://www.falriver.co.uk/ for the timetable.
Catching a small ferry over to St Mawes and then St Anthony
I set off early to get a good start to the day. I knew this next strip wasn’t going to be majorly difficult so I could take my time. I was still recovering from what I think was water poisoning.
The ferry over to St Mawes
From Falmouth you have to take two small ferries across the water which costs a few pounds. First to St Mawes and then a smaller boat to St Anthony. It was just me on the boat to St Anthony as they nearly closed the route because the tide wasn’t almost high enough. I was lucky.
Beautiful fields and coastal views on route from St Anthony to Portscatho
It was quite an easy day of 6 miles and the ferries made the route more interesting.
My Lanshan 1 Pro still super easy to use
I journalled, rested and slept well. I had gas again so could cook a hot meal with food I picked up in Falmouth.
